Concerned Citizens Protesting Government Policies
Winston-Salem, NC – Camel City United Indivisible (CCUI) announces plans for the NO KINGS 3 rally on Saturday, March 28, from 11:30 am to 1 pm. The non-violent protest will be centered at Winston-Salem’s historic Union Station, located at 300 S. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.
“Our constitutional rights are under attack. Silence is not an option”, CCUI founder Rudolph Click said. “Costs are escalating, jobs are being eliminated, and now the US is fighting another war. The people of Forsyth County are responding by organizing, listening, and standing together.”
While CCUI understands the problems facing our country, it is focusing on hope and the strength of communities in Forsyth County. On the 28th, everyone is encouraged to bring signs, show up in costume, and have fun.
The Forsyth County Association of Educators (FCAE), the Forsyth County Democratic Party, and Fuerza Triad are partnering with Camel City for this event.
