Large crowd gathered outdoors on a sunny day, standing along a sidewalk and street with signs raised. People of different ages face toward a central area, some holding protest signs including one that reads “STOP the Decay.” Trees in bloom and parked cars line the background.
Winston-Salem showed up. 💪🏽

Our No Kings 3 gathering was something special—not just a rally, but a community coming together with purpose, energy, and direction.

For the first time, we intentionally brought this event into East Winston on MLK Drive, grounding it in community and connection—not just visibility. And it mattered.

📊 Attendance Update:
Based on multiple measures—including on-site check-in, parking usage, and aerial photography—we estimate that between 1,800 and 2,400 people participated, with around 2,000 as our most reliable estimate.

That number reflects something deeper:
  • People showing up across generations
  • New faces alongside longtime organizers
  • A growing mix of community voices
  • Strong volunteer support and coordinated logistics across multiple parking locations
This wasn’t just about gathering—it was about what comes next.

We heard it clearly from the stage:
   ➡️ Talk to your neighbors
   ➡️ Build real relationships
➡️ Organize at the block level
   ➡️ Vote and stay engaged
That’s how we win.

Not just with moments—but with movement.

We’re proud of what we built together—and we’re just getting started.
